3. Legal framework
We manage cookies in accordance with PIPEDA, which requires meaningful consent for the collection of personal information, and with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada’s guidance on online behavioural advertising. Our granular consent model also aligns with stricter international standards, in case you visit us from Europe.
4. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary. Essential for the site to work: security, bot protection and remembering your own consent preferences. They do not require your consent because without them the site cannot deliver the service you requested.
Preferences. Remember choices you make, such as your selected language, to improve your browsing.
Analytics. Collect aggregate statistics about site usage. We do not currently use analytics tools; this category is reserved for future use and will only be activated with your express consent.
Advertising. Allow us to show relevant ads on social media and measure campaign performance through the Meta Pixel (Facebook / Instagram). These load only if you give express consent.

Processing carried out by these providers is governed by their own privacy and cookie policies. U-Topic Marketing does not control them.
7. Your consent

- Reject non-essential cookies
- Configure each category individually
Strictly necessary cookies are set without consent, as they are essential to the site’s operation.
Analytics cookies (currently reserved) and advertising cookies are set only after your express consent. The Meta Pixel therefore does not load or collect any data until you accept the “Advertising” category.
Rejecting non-essential cookies does not restrict your access to any content on the site.
8. Changing or withdrawing consent
You can review or change your choices at any time via the “Manage cookies” button at the bottom right of the screen, or the “Manage cookies” link in the footer.
